This letting on this piece is made entirely out of hardwoods and topped off with oil to let the natural colors and grains of the wood shine through. Each piece is hand cut on my scroll saw. The hard woods included here are cherry (frame), Peruvian walnut, Patagonia rosewood, canarywood, picana, & Macacuaba. The lettering is placed on a clear acrylic later that is raised above the backer to add dimension and let the landscape of the background shine through.
